Silks Level 1 - Adults (Ages 16+)

Tuesdays, 5:30PM - 6:30PM

For those interested in Aerial Silk, this class will teach the introductory fundamentals of aerial dance. Students will learn proper warm-up and stretching for air movement as well as develop the necessary muscles for successful flying. Students perform most exercises on the ground or low to the floor until necessary experience is obtained.

Acrobatics (Ages 8+)

Tuesdays, 5:30PM - 6:30PM

This class will train students on the proper conditioning, alignment, and strength needed for acrobatic movement such as tumbling, balancing, or partnering. Students will engage in proper warm-up and strength training before learning various skills pertaining to acrobatic level. 

Ballet  (Ages 10+)

Tuesdays, 5:30PM - 6:30PM

Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet. Class will focus on basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Students will focus on both barre and center work. The intricacy and extent of training will depend on the student’s level.

Silks Level 2+ (Ages 10+)

Tuesdays, 6:30PM - 7:30PM

This class will cater directly to the aerial level of the students within the class. Students will engage in proper warm-up and stretch before training either on a sling or silk apparatus. Instructors will teach skills and exercises based on current skill level.

Contemporary Dance (Ages 10+)

Tuesdays, 6:30PM - 7:30PM

This dance class allows students to explore and understand how their own bodies move while gaining an understanding of contemporary vocabulary and how it is similar, yet different, then classical ballet. Students will develop body control as well as freedom of movement.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet (Ages 10+) * Only 6/19, 6/26

Wednesdays, 10:00AM - 11:30AM

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet techniques.

Pre-Pointe (Ages 10+) ** Only 6/19, 6/26, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21

Wednesdays, 12:00PM - 1:00PM

For pre pointe/ pointe class students will need pointe shoes, and ballet shoes. The focus will be staying on the barre and working on getting those feet and legs stronger. We will also discuss how to tie pointe shoes, how to care for them  etc.

Lyra Levels 1 & 2 (Ages 10+)

Wednesdays, 5:30PM - 6:30PM

Known as a steel hoop suspended in the air, the Lyra is a circular apparatus that is typically seen spinning or swinging. This class will cater directly to the aerial level of the students within the class. Students will engage in proper warm-up and stretch before training in Lyra conditioning and skills. Skills will be taught based on skills level of students currently in the class.

Silks Level 1 (Ages 8+)

Wednesdays, 5:30PM - 6:30PM

Trapeze Level 1 (Ages 8+)

Wednesdays, 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Comprised of a steel bar with two rope attachments on either side, the trapeze will have you spinning, swinging, and flying! Unlike the circus flying trapeze, however, aerial dance trapeze uses movements such as balances, contortions, drops, and swings. Introductory students learn similar skills to that of an aerial sling.

Aerial Inversions (Ages 10+)

Wednesdays, 6:30PM - 7:30PM

This class is all about being upside down! Includes proper aerial warm-up and stretch as well as conditioning of lower abdominal and all muscles needed for inversions. Students should have previous aerial experience prior to taking this class and be able to hold lock off comfortably.

Break Dancing (Ages 8+)

Wednesdays, 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Based in the hip-hop culture, you will learn basic steps, freezes, stops, and transitions from standing floor and back up as well as basic sequences.

Heels Dance (Ages 21+)

Wednesdays, 7:30PM - 8:30PM

A high energy, action packed dance class in high heels!  This class will incorporate genres of pop, jazz, latin, and hip hop! This class can be done with or without heels and men and women are invited to take!
