In-School Shows

Dance & Circus Throughout History

​

Our In-School Shows are a 45-60 minute performance that includes a Question and Answer session at the end.  4-5 performing artists will share historical and cultural information on but not limited to the following disciplines: contemporary dance, ballet, jazz, stilt-walking, trapeze, juggling, aerial silks and partner acrobatics.

 

Fees

1 show: $1,300

2 shows: $2,400

 

Space Requirements

  • gymnasium or stage that we can set up our portable aerial rig or rig on the beams

  • open dance floor that is free of debris, equipment, etc. of at least 30' x 30' x 24' tall

  • seating for student audience

FAQs

How long do you need to set-up and tear down?

90 minutes to set-up

30 minutes to tear down

What are your space requirements?

Our portable aerial rig needs 20' x 20' x 20'.  And then space for students to sit around the rig.

What grades are best suited for the show?

Grades 2 - 8

K and 1st grades can work.  They just get a little wiggly. 

​​

What do we need?

Sound system with a microphone and AUX input (but we can bring our own).

Changing area near the stage.

Bathroom access.

Access to unload near the performance space.​

​

Who are the performers?

The performers are professional performers who teach at our school and generally a CC&DC student joins us too.
