Summer Camp Access Program

We're excited to offer free summer camp to students who attend Title 1 schools in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS)! This opportunity is made possible through the generous support of the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte-Mecklenburg. If you see your county commissioners, please thank them — their support of the arts makes programs like this possible for our community.
How it works:
A $50 refundable deposit holds your child's spot. When your camper attends all camp days, your full deposit is refunded to you.
This program is the result of years of hard work, and it's a true partnership between our nonprofit organization and your family. If you sign up, please plan to show up. Spots are limited, and more than likely we will quickly develop a waitlist.
If something comes up and your child can't make it, please reach out to us as early as possible so we can offer the spot to another camper.
At checkout:
-
Enter coupon code ASCSUMMER in the Coupon Code field.
-
Fill in the Academic School field so we can verify enrollment with your child's school.
We can't wait to welcome your camper this summer!

This summer, give your child the gift of confidence, creativity, and connection. At Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center’s Summer Camp, children explore movement through circus arts and dance — discovering not just what their bodies can do, but how much joy comes from learning together.

Our caring instructors create a safe and encouraging space where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Our camps offer high-quality training in dance and circus arts — they're an immersive creative experience, not a daycare. We welcome campers who are eager to explore these disciplines, and active participation is part of what makes camp magical for everyone. If a camper is unwilling to participate, we'll kindly ask families to pick them up so the rest of the group can have the wonderful experience they came for.

Parents often share that their children finish camp “more centered, more confident, and more themselves.”
No experience is required.
